Ben Zion Waks was born in Tel Aviv in 1936.
He was one of the greatest collectors in the Land of Israel.
He began to collect stamps at the age of 10 and from there coins, bills, personal signatures, through art, Judaic, antique books, silverware, old Eretz Israel artifacts, reptiles, mammals of various kinds,
In 1983 he moved with his family to Ramot Hashavim,
Ben Zion died prematurely (2017) in the yard of his house among the animals he loved so much!
